'make' works fine, but 'make install' fails. The odd thing is the path searched for ( /usr/local/man/man3/), has two forward slashes: unlink /usr/local/lib/perl5/man/man3/Socket.tmp Installation complete ===> Compressing the manual pages for perl-5.003 /usr/local/man//man3/Socket.3: No such file or directory *** Error code 1 Stop. Has anyone else experienced this? I've yet to find the file that might be the cause of this. I suspect its a typo somewhere in the 'work/perl5.003/' directory. Thanks in advance.
