I'm running a FreeBSD 2.2.7 and installed the Takashi's AWE32 driver
ported by Randall Hopper. I made sure to follow the instructions,
apply the relevant patches (the one marked < 3.0). It's set to PnP
so I also followed the instructions for the 2.2.7 PnP support. I
also made sure I loaded the sound effects bank from a windows
installation (synthgm.sbk).

I encountered two problems. The first, the most annoying, is the
fact that drvmidi will not play anything. Just silence. I'm *sure*
I'm loading the sound bank.

Here's the other pecularity from sndstat:

Card config:
SoundBlaster at 0x220 irq 5 drq 1
SoundBlaster16 at 0x0 irq 65535 drq 5
SB16 MIDI at 0x330 irq 65535 drq 4294967295
AWE32 Synth at 0x620 irq 65535 drq 4294967295
OPL-2/OPL-3 FM at 0x388 irq 65535 drq 4294967295

Looks like some integer went bizionk there, but I'm hoping it's just
a cosmetic bug.

The devices look right though, even though auto-detection didn't
find the AWE32 and I set the port manually in the awe_config.h as
per instructions found there.

Anyone encountered similar symptoms?
