Well, it appears the newer versions of Xorg change the
enumeration returned by some widget set (most likely
candidate is Xt).  Here are 2 patches that fix the
problem.  In short, Xorg no longer likes the -1 index
that is changed in patch-u_fonts.c.  The patches are
specifically apply to xfig-devel.
