How much space should I allocate for the CVS tree? I have a whole JAZ drive dedicated to this purpose. Well, I sometimes cheat and also put OpenBSD and Linux sources on there as well. I'd say you'll want to have about 600M of space that you can dedicate to these purposes before starting down this path. The only problem with my JAZ drive is that it slower than the new, cool SCSI disks which makes build times longer (on an overnight build for me, however, the difference between 8hr and 12hr isn't a big deal). The CVS tree is about 230M. The sources checked out are about 210M. The obj tree escapes me at the moment, but either 100M or 150M sticks in my head. Warner
