Well, some time ago I filed PR docs/27209 (initiated by one of the ever upcoming threads about this very topic in the mailing lists). But it was rejected for being "just gratuitous". I did not want to do a long and fruitless fight about it (after all I have the correction in my local tree :) and don't force those who do not want it to use it. But those interested are free to apply the patch from the PR to their local sources.
