I just wrote it up for the new edition of "The Complete FreeBSD" (at a bookshop near you Real Soon Now). In fact, I had my cursor on it in another window. To quote: SCSI_DELAY is the number of milliseconds to wait after resetting the SCSI bus. This is most evident when probing. This value used to be in seconds: be careful when upgrading. Make sense?
