Noting a new release of OpenOffice binaries for Linux, we pulled the archive down & tried to install it on our 4.7-R Toshiba notebook. Issuing the command (for a "network" base install): $ ./setup -net in OpenOffice's "install" directory returns the messages: glibc version: 2.2.4 execv failed with file:/path_to/install/setup with 134537831. and that's it, the setup fails. A quick search on Google doesn't seem to turn up anything related. Ideas ? Solutions ? -- Gary E. RAFE, Ph.D. grafe@eng.utoledo.edu
