One of the reasons that warning is still there is the SYS-V IPC infrastructure and I've been contacted by someone who says they will be working on that shortly so that issue should be addressed. Does anyone know of anything else that could cause problems for uids larger than 16-bits? Please just send me private email at this point, I'll investigate and if it is still an issue will try to hunt down someone to fix it.
