I notice that my Maestro attaches at a different address to yours, but I don't know how significant that is: Preloaded elf module "snd_pcm.ko" at 0xc0444140. pcm0: port 0x1000-0x10ff mem 0xf4000000-0xf4001fff irq 5 at device 13.0 on pci0 Do you get any messages (e.g. "timed out" or anything about interrupts? Have you tried suspending/resuming (I see sound not working about 1 time out of 20 or less)? I'm pretty sure I remember disabling int 5 in 'pccard.conf' so that it'd be available for the sound driver - you might want to check that if you're running PCCARDs... Are you sure about the mixer? ;-) (Actually, sometime ago, the volume settings would start out at 0 after a boot, this seems to have stopped a few months ago). Is your mute button pressed :-> (getting desparate now!) HTH.
