Similarly:

blarf:~#ipfw /etc/ipv4.firewall
ipfw: unrecognised option [-1] icmptype

Or if I change it to icmptypes (as it seems to be listed in the man page) 
I get:

ipfw: unrecognised option [41] icmptypes
