Hello, A very good text on FreeBSD is "The complete FreeBSD" by Greg Lehey (it's not completely up to date : any volunteers here ?) You can also browse the online FreeBSD handbook on www.frebsd.org Then, any book on BSD or its derivatives (such as SunOS 4.1.x) is applicable.
