Subject:   libc.so.2.2 not found

  I can not make install some ports as I get the message that 
libc.so.2.2 not found.  I created a link using ln -s libc.so.2.2 libc.so.3 
as the mail archives suggested on the FreeBSD site, but I get the same 
message. 

  CVSUP to 3.1-stable

 Ideas?
