first install lprps-letter-2.5

then add this to /etc/printcap

        :if=/usr/local/libexec/psif:\
        :lp=:rm=print.server.ip:rp=printer:sd=/var/spool/lpd/lp:

and mkdir -p /var/spool/lpd/lp
