According to my notes, the Plantronics headset stopped working five years a= go. I probably put it in a box somewhere, and the USB interface may still be functional, but I have not been able to find it. A wild guess would be that recording worked when the sync-endpoint code was removed from uaudio.c back= in 2010. However, the UQ_AU_INP_ASYNC quirk, which was eliminated from OpenBSD= in 2009 (as pointed out in comment #5), still exists in FreeBSD.
