Hello!!

I have two !bg in my .linkup file and it works great.  
Be sure to provide the full path.  I'm not on my FBSD 
box right now but you may need to include something like:

!bg '/usr/local/bin/fetchmail -d 900'

 I think the quotes are nesassary ?  If it doesn't work still try creating
a shell script that !bg calls to execute the commands.
