I agree. I prefer to keep as it is, shared-mime-info and
desktop-file-utils. It's so much easier for the others to figure out
what they can add in the USES. The short name doesn't help for other
people. A lot of them don't know that they need to run it to make
cache when they saw application that depends on shared-mime-info, so
the 'cache' or short name is useless.
