I820 is the much vaunted, = excessively buggy RAMBUS chipset.=20 A lot of manufacturers were caught out by the discovery of major memory= timing and cache reliability=20 problems when more than two RAMBUS slots were filled. Hence a number of the boards that were underway to delivery are now bei= ng dumped en masse as they are pretty much scrap and unsaleable - plus. if they are not popul= ated with RB SIMMs, you have about *zero* chance of a) actually getting any, since very few companies are = producing RAMBUS cards b) finding anyone willing to sell them as PC133 ramps up even if they had any in t= he first place c) buying them at prices anywhere below the price of a reasonable family car.
