Read /usr/src/UPDATING. This isn't a RTFM reply, it's serious. That
file contains specific instructions on how to do a source upgrade and
will include any important "announcements" regarding changes in
procedure (such as using ``make {build,install}kernel'' instead of the
traditional ``config ; make depend ; make'' method).
