The listed files are really a symlinks to directories. They seemed to confuse the hell out of pkg_delete. It would warn about something like `attempting to remove <...> as a file' but would never get rid of it. Then the upper level directories wouldn't be removed because they're not empty. pkg_delete won't be able to get rid of the thing now, or at least it wouldn't for me when I tried it. maybe pkg_delete needs to be taught about symlinks -? eric.
