Robert, if you need a volunteer to test on KDE, I'm happy to.  I've got
a KDE 3.5.7/FreeBSD 6.2 setup ready to go.  It works fine with
AIGLX/Beryl so I think Compiz will work, too.  It's fully updated with
the latest ports and it's running the new modular-X (7.2).

I can try my hand at working on the KDE bits along with you if you can
point me in the direction of the files and what needs to be done.
Again, fully happy to test, too... which you may find more useful. ;)

That's great news/info.  I had no idea that ccsm is being made part and
parcel of compiz-fusion.  Aside from configuring plug-ins, is it also
supposed to let you configure/select the window decorator?  Right now,
Emerald has been merged into Compiz-Fusion but I can't figure out how to
actually *run* it with Compiz.
