Please add something like the following to your list of User Groups for North America on <URL:http://www.freebsd.org/support.html#user>: Unix Unanimous (UU) is one of the longest continuous running (since 1986) semi-organized gatherings in the Toronto, Ontario area of people interested in Unix and related topics. There are no fees or membership requirements or RSVPs or anything like that, and the regular meetings are open to all. Meetings are held in the evening on the second Wednesday of every month. If you wish to receive meeting notifications via e-mail, then send a request to <uu-request@furryape.com> with the word "subscribe" in the body of the message. A map directing you to the location of the regular meetings can be found at <URL:http://www.furryape.com/uu/>. FYI, the first UU meeting (in 1986) was organized by Peter Renzland (then at Ontario Ministry of Health, now at Planix, Inc.), then working to bring end-user interest and involvement to the primarily vendor oriented UniForum Canada organisation. I was an attendee at that first meeting and haven't missed a whole lot of them since! :-) -- Greg A.
