First of all, I used the parallel connection, instead of the USB. It seemed like less bloat on the kernel. Second, I installed ghostscript 6.50 with apsfilter. Apsfilter's setup requires some gimp plugin found in the newer ghostscript. Once you get that installed, you should be set. Serve with a twist of lime.
