Hello, For the record, I am running FreeBSD-CURRENT from August 2: # uname -a FreeBSD panic.localdomain 5.0-CURRENT FreeBSD 5.0-CURRENT #0: Wed Aug 2 17:55:17 PDT 2000 root@panic.localdomain:/usr/obj/usr/local/cvsup/cur rent/src/sys/PANIC i386 What is the interface used by the reboot() system call to power off the machine when the RB_POWEROFF flag is set? The man page makes mention of hardware support, but doesn't specify what that support is, or how to use it.
