Right, but my concern is one of adding in the disabling of threads,  
with the resultant PORTREVISION bump, which y'all can guarantee will  
mean to some folks that they need to go rebuild everything.

This particular issue with desktop-file-utils is (at least so far)  
the only run-time problem being reported with devel/gettext as it is,  
so I'm *really* not looking forward to bumping things on the basis of  
a single port failure (which could well be worked around there, I  
don't know).

If we were seeing gettext-consuming ports fail left, right, and  
center as a result of the by-default threading in 0.16.1, that would  
obviously make for a much stronger case to take another hit, but I'm  
just not seeing that right now.
