Use the "forwarders" directive to point your nameserver to another DNS server (which should be larger and better connected). However, a lightly loaded DNS server ought to run just fine unless there is a problem somewhere. Are you having path MTU problems, or do you have a firewall somewhere which might be blocking TCP port 53 or something like that? -- -Chuck
