lost INTs, silo overflows, network card timeouts are all symptoms of something
screwy in the "autostart" code.  This is now off by default and the SMP-current
kernel is stable at this point.  I am very curious to here from one of the EIDE
testers to see if we fixed that problem also...

Now's the time to update your cvs tree, gang, even if you don't have time
for testing...
