Hello all. An update. Remember I said I tried this on four machine - Same fault. Also tried 2.2.7 on same 4 machines - installed O.K. Previously I used IDE :- WD 12500 Cyl - 4,960, Hds - 16, Spt - 63 2,559.8Mb (two machines) WD 2210 Cyl - 4,092, Hds - 16, Spt - 63 2,111.8Mb WD 28400 Cyl - 16,383 Hds - 16, Spt - 63 8,455.2Mb I found a spare H/D:- IBM DSAA-3720 Cyl - 1416, Hds - 16, Spt - 63 728Mb It installed and works flawlessly. I tried it 3 different times for consistency.
