As near as I can tell from various web pages, this is a new feature that slipped into 3.4 and 4.x but has never been documented. If there's nobody already writing the doc, I might be convinced to volunteer. I've played with SGML and Docbook. Are you looking for contributions? Where would you suggest it go?
