Same problem (build on host, place package in repo, poudriere erases the
package) for two more ports:

Sanity checking the repository
====>> Direct dependency change, deleting: Xaw3d-1.5E_4.txz
====>> Direct dependency change, deleting: nas-1.9.3.txz

Poudriere fails to build both of these ports because of missing gcpp
symlink:
===>   Xaw3d-1.5E_4 depends on file: /usr/local/bin/ccache - found
===>  Configuring for Xaw3d-1.5E_4
imake -DUseInstalled -I/usr/local/lib/X11/config
imake: No such file or directory
imake: Cannot exec gcpp.
  Stop.
imake: Exit code 1.
