Hi,
I have FreeBSD 3.1 that came with gcc-2.7.1,
yesterday i installed egcs-1.1.1 from ports.
Q1. What do I do to turn ON optimization for pentium ?
i compiled my kernel with egcs, it's smaller now and seems to run
faster.
i compiled /usr/src/bin with egcs so
Q2. why /bin/cat compiled with egcs is _bigger_ than /bin/cat ?
is it Ok ? what did I miss ?
Q3. why 'man cc' says me about gcc-2.7.1 ?
Regards, (с наилучшими пожеланиями,)
