--k+w/mQv8wyuph6w0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable While setting up a friends DSL gateway I encountered the following: Invoking PPPoE over the device wouldn't work until I do: # ifconfig ed0 1.1.1.1 ... <insert kernel complains about ed0 timing out> # ifconfig ed0 delete. After that, PPPoE works. Could someone please enlighten me about the internal magic going on? --=20 Volker Stolz * stolz@i2.informatik.rwth-aachen.de * PGP + S/MIME --k+w/mQv8wyuph6w0 Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: 2.6.3i iQCVAwUBObtuOxLpPok/0ba1AQGDcgQAzN8Fn0v/2kyK1MFfCnDHt04fJvuL1YEF RU64kICuXPsto9ejUkbvCrZKyJOsyLyf/ZEvUQ/EC+txcOp9LXkwC58Nd76OZp55 UZF7GUX5EVe39ZpzFoXfCN30Jw6Ww18HBlUUsIDWDjSqTfDRJdrz22BqaIh2HEDn iDKbemdtcBc= =Ldcf -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --k+w/mQv8wyuph6w0-- To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
