The CVS repository is now stable with respect to the removal of kde2 and related ports. Whew! That is, everything that has been decided to be removed as of now *has* been removed *completely*, including from Makefiles and the CVSROOT/modules file. For the interested, this has resulted in the development of a script, nukeport, which you can get at: http://wwweasel.geeksrus.net/~alane/portutils/nukeport This is a very powerful tool; it is of use to ports committers only, and should be used with caution, although I believe that sufficient safeguards have been programmed in. If you do download this script, please READ IT all the way through before you do anything else, even though it does have help. -- Alan Eldridge Unix/C(++) IT Pro, 20 yrs, seeking new employment.
