What happens to a port when the maintainer is ports@freebsd.org? Does it go into a kind of limbo? I say this, because there are some very nice PR's that upgrade ghostscript and I would really like to see them committed. (Andreas is no longer the maintainer.) Also I have a PR describing a very simply bug in the display port: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=28405 If that port needs a maintainer I would be happy to take it over (it is such an easy one). How does one go about becoming a maintainer? (I don't think I am up for becoming a maintainer for ghostscript though. Maybe the author of the PR's http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=28846 http://www.FreeBSD.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=28847 could be asked to do this.) -- Stephen Montgomery-Smith stephen@math.missouri.edu http://www.math.missouri.edu/~stephen To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
