I was told that my Sparc4 had a nice feature where you could control the system through a serial port connection removing the need for a keyboard. I want to know how I can do this using my FreeBSD box. I bought a serial cable and i've connected one end to my FreeBSD box and the other to the Sparc. I'm assuming i'll need some sort of hyperterminal-like application to make the connection (I was considering using Aterm). After that what do I do? Is there any intial setup I need to run through before I can make my serial port on the FreeBSD box active? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. -Sameer __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Make international calls for as low as $.04/minute with Yahoo!
