I just installed mtools from the 2.1.6 ports collection and mformat does not work. It says: vas# mformat a: mformat: Non-removable media is not supported (You must tell the complete geomet ry of the disk, either in /etc/mtools or on the command line) vas# I am trying to format a floppy. It has been formatted with fdformat. My mtools.conf file looks like this: drive a: file="/dev/fd0" exclusive mtools_lower_case=1 mcopy and other utilities do work. Any ideas? -- Victor Sudakov http://www.tomsk.su/r/persons/vas.htm
