Subject: fwbuilder's esound dependency

I'm trying to install security/fwbuilder (firewall builder) on my
server. I intend to run it via remote X (my server is headless). I've
fulfilled all of fwbuilder's dependencies except one: esound. Esound is
going to be totally useless for my purposes, and the dependency baggage that
esound carries with it is unwanted as well (why fwbuilder would require it
in the first place is beyond me).
    I've tried setting WITHOUT_GNOME, WITHOUT_ESOUND, WITHOUT_GNOMELIBS, and
WITHOUT_ALL in my environment in order to overrule the dependency, but to no
avail.

    So, the question:
How can I get the fwbuilder port to install without esound?
