Hello,

I was thinking of starting my own search engine, and running it on one of my
FreeBSD boxes.
I have searched around the web, and found many different search engines...
but I'm a newbie when
it comes to this.

Does anyone have any ideas for the best search engine software? I want
something robust, with lots
of features, fairly inexpensive (or free) and something that would work well
on FreeBSD with apache.

Your suggestions are welcomed... thanks in advance!

Best Regards,

Kevin Turner
