Yank the following lines as well: device adv0 at isa? device adw device bt0 at isa? device aha0 at isa? device aic0 at isa? If you start working from the GENERIC kernel, and that builds but you modified one doesn't, it really shouldn't be difficult to narrow it down to which of your changes broke the build.
