I don't have any ACPI issues on any AMD or VIA based chipsets.
I'm not saying there isn't at least one VIA-based mobo with bad ACPI
issues, but practially every nVidia based motherboard has bad ACPI
issues.  In fact, I personally don't know of a single nVidia motherboard
that doesn't have bad ACPI issues.  Do you?
