Hi; FWIW, if my memory serves well... files used to be overwritten three times to specifically avoid them from being recovered (security/privacy concerns).. according to the rm(1) manpage this is done by the -P option, perhaps it's not the default anymore. cheers, Pedro. ___________________________________ Yahoo!
