I have a friend who is in this boat. I have one stupid question, can you put the new drivers in 2.0.5 or do you have to become "current" to make them work. He has a level limited system and would really like to be able to run stuff off his cd-rom drive and doesn't have the connection or the space to get the source and compile it. I figured I could create a kernel on my machine and send it too him to use. I at least think that idea would work. But I am using 2.0.5 (like he is). I apologize if this has already been hashed out, but I until now I have not been following this issue because it didn't pertain to me. Thanks for the help. --- Duane ____________________________________________________________________________ Duane Ellison Duane@gargamel.ptw.com Edwards, California http://gargamel.ptw.com/~Duane
