Subject:   XFree86 archive problems "please help can't live without X"

        I have been trying to download XFree86 archives form XFree86.org, 
        Freebsd.org and other places,  but when I try to gunzip  or
        tar xvzf I receive an error.  Does anyone know where to get
        non corrupted archives from.  Also is anyone else having the 
        same difficulties.
