There is extreme background noise, and apparently a low sampling rate even when a higher one is selected. >How-To-Repeat: Use mixer to set a recording source, and set the "rec" channel to 100. The sound card output sounds terrible, and is barely audible. That is exactly what an eventual recording sounds like.
