The atapi driver will only enable dma on atapi devices if they claim to at= =20 least support UDMA33/UDMA2. This behaviour was changed from 4.x (S=F8ren te= lls=20 me) because too many old devices which report bogus capabilities failed wit= h=20 the wdma modes. If your device works fine with wdma, you'll need to enable = it=20 yourself (Gary's suggestion is a good way to do it). =2D-=20 ,_, | Michael Nottebrock | lofi@freebsd.org (/^ ^\) | FreeBSD - The Power to Serve | http://www.freebsd.org \u/ | K Desktop Environment on FreeBSD | http://freebsd.kde.org --nextPart1155407.Cta6mjIxTA Content-Type: application/pgp-signature -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.6 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQBBsZadXhc68WspdLARAtvzAJ9Y6AgkLNcKHqb2Vo4/P2gcvCzPvgCgpGxg 919IriTPfzKvShPHzINLT4A= =60Ls -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --nextPart1155407.Cta6mjIxTA--
