	Hmm... interesting. From the top in the BIOS make sure that you
have both IDE controllers active. Make sure nothing is using IRQ 15 in the
system. If you have it, IRQ15's PNP setting should be PNP or sometimes
auto, as long as it's not legacy. Set the drive up to be master on the
secondary controller, you may want to use another IDE cable just in case.
Once you start booting make sure the kernal is probing it in the first
place. At this point I'd be suspecting an IRQ conflict. Have you tried
another CDROM in this system (if you have one that is.)
