The ports seem to work OK, but I'm just curious. Is this some kind of compatibility quirk, or is something actually broken? /dev entries look like: rimmer:/usr4/mike$ ls -l /dev/ttyR0 /dev/cuaR0 crw------- 1 uucp dialer 81, 0x00010080 Jul 8 02:29 /dev/cuaR0 crw------- 1 root wheel 81, 0x00010000 Jul 8 02:29 /dev/ttyR0 rimmer:/usr4/mike$ - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Understated/funny man-page sentence of the current time period: From route(4) on FreeBSD-3.4, DESCRIPTION section: "FreeBSD provides some packet routing facilities." ...duh.......
