Does anyone know a workaround for this? Without meaning any offense, if this is your first exposure to FreeBSD, we would strongly advise that you consider using one of our mature releases, eg. 2.2.7. With the Beta phase the ported software collection is in a state of constant flux, and unless you are very familiar with the system you will rapidly become very frustrated. If you're determined to continue with the 3.0 BETA, then it's extremely important that you subscribe to the cvs-all mailing list, and watch carefully for updates that will affect your system. You should also be prepared to install and use CVSup, and rebuild or otherwise update your system as changes are introduced over the next week. -- \\ Sometimes you're ahead, \\ Mike Smith \\ sometimes you're behind. \\ mike@smith.net.au \\ The race is long, and in the \\ msmith@freebsd.org \\ end it's only with yourself. \\ msmith@cdrom.com To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-current" in the body of the message
