I forgot to change the=20 permissions on the mpegaudio directory too. But now that I can record I=20 can't seem record the sound from the /dev/dsp. The TV card outputs the a= udio=20 through an external cable back into the line-in of the sound card. I can= =20 hear it fine through my speakers, and I can adjust the volume of the line= in=20 through the kde sound mixer, but no sound is recorded when I play the vid= eo. =20 I have tried to just record the audio, but all that produced is a file wi= th=20 no sound. I can control the line-in sound through fxtv with that volume=20 control too. -- Anish Mistry On Saturday 02 February 2002 02:19 pm, Randall Hopper wrote: > Anish Mistry: > |I tried what you said and this is where the error occured.
