When attempting to run this version a dialog will appear which states "This Preview Release Of Netscape 6 Has Expired. You Will Now Be Taken To Netscape's Site To Download A More Recent Version.". The browser will redirect to Netscape's Download Area. This area attempts to detect the OS which the browser is running on. FreeBSD 4.2-STABLE is not a valid release for Netscape 6 thus this detection fails. >How-To-Repeat: Perform a clean installation of the ports/www/linux-netscape6 port and open the browser. Note the timebomb warning and the failed redirection >Fix: Update to the Final Release of Linux-Netscape6, or advocate someone at Netscape compile the product for FreeBSD Natively >Release-Note: >Audit-Trail: >Unformatted: To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-ports" in the body of the message
