As (sadly) WITH_PIE isn't default (and not even really useable, see bug
272898), this isn't a security regression (if all those commits do is setti=
ng
PIE_UNSAFE for ports that don't build WITH_PIE (which I suspect to be the c=
ase,
based on the sample of those commits I looked at)).

To me it seems more like an attempt to make more of the ports tree build wh=
en
using WITH_PIE, so that it hopefully can be default in the future, without
investing time *now* in figuring the exact reason why WITH_PIE doesn't work=
 for
those ports and fixing them (that can happen while they are marked PIE_UNSA=
FE).
